I am a Publishing Project Manager, freelance since 2009, with over 11 years in-house editorial and production experience. I specialise in educational and academic publishing and have extensive experience of copy-editing, proofreading and working with authors, typesetters, printers and freelance suppliers. I have excellent IT and technical knowledge and am skilled at taking projects from manuscript to print. I have an M.A. in English Language and Literature from the University of Glasgow and an M.Phil. in Publishing Studies from Stirling University. I am an associate member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders.
Why Prodjct Editorial?
There are a lot of copy-editors and proofreaders out there. I love doing both, but what makes me different is my experience in editorial project management. The ‘misspelling’ came from my love of word-play and my initials DJC – a bit of fun in a serious business. Ludwig Wittgenstein claimed that, ‘Everything that can be said, can be said clearly.’ Let me help you say what you want to say.
